I just got Android 8.0 Oreo pushed to my pixel.

Just loaded it on my 6P and it's already bugging me. I have an "Android System" notification that says "Avast Mobile Security is running in the background" that I cannot figure out how to get rid of without a mod so far.

I got the notification also, but since I'm not fully stock, I'll have to sideload it.

If you figure out how to get rid of those Android system notifications let me know. I've had oreo for about a week and haven't figured it out yet.

I've had Oreo since the weekend. I haven't noticed much difference although I should probably do some experimenting on new features. No problems though.

I just got it today. I'm indifferent on the white notification screen. I do like that on your first pulldown of notifications it gives you auto rotate, flashlight, and do not disturb. You don't have to swipe down twice to access those anymore.
Not sure what pip is. I enjoyed the split screen feature I've had since day 1, although it is probably better on the larger XL.

I hate the white background. I can't seem to find where to clean phone cached memory any more.

This is customizable, at least on my phone.
Do the second pull down and click the little pen/edit icon. You can then hold and arrange your icons.

I won't update at all, until I'm certain my FoxFi app will still work. It didn't on 7.0.

After doing a little research I found this app. It works well on my Pixel XL. Google Play store app
