More choices are always a good thing, but this seems like a feature that could be exploited.

Or, this could just be a troll by Xiaomi. I can't tell anymore.

The second screen is just a gimmick. What caught my eye is the 7500mAh battery and 100W charging. That's impressive

Not if they are rolling them out to tech influencers

Not really. Their phones are plagued with hardware and software issues. Processors are inefficient, batteries overheat, and mechanically flimsy. Like anything else Chinese, the technology hardly lives up to their claims. A 7.5Ah battery (about 27Wh) charging at 100W? That's a fire hazard, not a valuable feature. I have 120Wh battery packs and they get pretty warm at 120W charging.

Apple copied tons of features from others but their Quality Control of being the only hardware manufacturer for their OS is why they won.

Google had LG, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, themselves ,etc all specing out their own hardware for the same operating systems, which lead to some really crappy phones.

None of that has anything to do with how these Chinese smartphone manufacturers produce flashy junk. Much like anything the Chinese promise as cutting edge, world-beating technologies...it's almost always fake.

Yeah. Oneplus/Oppo produces a crappy phone.

I had Blackberry Keyone and Keytwo, produced by TCL. Very well built phones.

It's a silicon carbon battery. Latest and greatest battery tech that's been out for a couple years now in China and hopefully next year for Samsung and Apple.

They have a significantly higher density so you can pack a lot more battery life without the battery getting any bigger to maintain a slim size. And charge really fast.

I hate how far behind the latest tech everyone else is anymore. shite has been out for 3 years and still not in the US.

No, he cannot. It's his team. it has nothing to do with quality or performance at all.
