I’ve started listening to podcasts and more talk radio so I’m interested in wireless earbuds now. Are AirPods worth the coin? I’m an iOS user so want something that’ll work seamlessly with it. Thank you

I think they are. I resisted for a long time because of the price. I had some BT headphones that connected to each other with a wire, then had a set of individual buds where I could listen to one or both. But you can’t take calls on those. Bought my wife a set for Christmas and then she got me some for Valentine’s Day. Using them a few weeks now and I love them.

You have the regular ones? Call quality good?

Anyone had regular and the pros? Worth the extra $100?

The pros are in a mess right now. Unreliable firmware, crackling issues, and reduced ANC.

If you want apple get the regular right now with the comply tips to get a better seal.

Echo buds or galaxy buds are great too

AirPods are totally worth it. I’ve gone through a few wireless headphones before the AirPods came out and now I’m going on 2 years straight with them. Use them every day at work for hours and I only have to recharge the case every 5-7 days or so.

I have AirPod pros and I don’t think they’re a mess. Regular AirPods never really fit my ears well but the pros do. They are totally worth it if ANC is important. I run a lot in New Orleans and due to being in a swamp, most runners run on the street since sidewalk running is sadly more dangerous. I turn off the ANC when I run outside so I can hear cars engines etc.

In the gym and traveling, ANC is awesome. If you could benefit from similar scenarios, I’d splurge but if you don’t care about any of those scenarios, there’s probably cheaper options like Jaybird Tarah Pros (good headphones too).

Amazon.com. TOZO T10 Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Earbuds. I've had a pair for about a year now and they work great. Great sound and comfort for only $40. Although I don't wear mine daily I do wear them about 8 hours a week. And I love the fact that they can be charged in the case by putting them on a charging pad.

I love my Echo buds, but I haven't tried the others to compare.

AirPod Pros have changed my day to day life - it’s stunning really. Just get them. I barely even knew what they were a month ago. Also, I’m not generally prone to being a huge Apple guy so this is as unbiased as it gets.

I got a pair of powerbeats3 bluetooth earbuds as a gift. I actually use them quite often. They hold charge good after a couple of years, and block out surrounding noise really well. I've read reviews on Amazon the opposite of my experience. Could be that I got a good batch of batteries and hardware? My experience didn't line up with some of the reviews though.

I'm not too fond of the no wire thing on the air pods. I would absolutely lose one of them if they weren't connected. I also ride bicycle a lot, and if one falls out there's no telling where it's going to fall into so I like the wire being able to drape it around my neck. The wire is mildly inconvenient at times though.

If all you need them for is podcasts and aren’t a huge audiophile then the regular AirPods work great. Got mine a few weeks ago through amazon sale for $129.

Picked up a pair at target for $139. They are very nice and the range is impressive. Only wish they had volume control on them.

Senso Headphones on Amazon for around $25. Excellent sound and quality. I've been using them for 2 years.

Do you have an Apple Watch? If so you can control it from there. Not exactly what you're looking for but you get used to it.

Apparently I'm an apple sheep.

Yeah call quality is what my wife loves most about then. She calls her grandmother once a week at least, and her grandmother is hard of hearing. She used these one time and her grandmother said she could hear her better. My wife could hear her better as well with it being in her ear and not having to hold the phone. I’ve used them a few times taking calls while driving. Better than using the BT in my SUV.
