I really understand, upon checking here on my end I see that your previous promotion has already ended and as all our plans are subject to auto renewal I see that you are currently active under our regular rate of Music and entertainment for $23.05 per month. Instead of closing your subscription I can go ahead and help you lower your bills. Instead of paying $23.05 can offer you a promotion of $5.99 plus fees and taxes per month for the next 12 months. I really hope you consider this one.
I literally only had to say "Why did my bill quadruple". The rest was simply saying yes to the new agreement

I just signed up for a year at $29. I told the rep I had Spotify and Amazon Alexa with voice control in my car and with Android Auto. I said , "there is nothing compelling enough in your service that I can't recreate with Amazon Music and Spotify."
The rep said, "Is $29 for a year compelling enough?"
Heck, yeah.

Except, unless you're canceling Amazon Music and Spotify, you're out $29 for no added joy/utility.

I'm with you FG. I was needing to do this myself, but just got a new ride with a free 3 month subscription, so I can procrastinate for at least another 3 months.

I was finally able to cancel. I was shocked they said OK after only one price drop. Do I miss it? Yeah, a little. But, not enough for the price since I pay for another service.

You get the benefit of having satellite radio, in the event you are ever in a place where only cell service (if that) is consistently available, for basically $5 a month. Plus you get various offerings that are easy to access while driving.
For me, it is worth $30. Maybe not for you.

I just wait for them to send me the 3 months for a $1 email offer every few months.
I signed up for a free Walmart+ trial recently and it came with a 6 months of Sirius XM free offer.

You can do it via chat on their website, no need to even call anymore.

Every time they asked a question or tried to lower my bill I just repeated “I would just like to cancel”. Took around 10 times of me saying it then they got the hint.

What if I told you SiriusXM has 3 months for $0
I’m currently on the 3 months for $0. Ordered something from DoorDash last month and they gave me this offer. The most attractive part was that I was not required to put down a form of payment. It just automatically ends after 3 months. I have a 9 hour road trip next month so this was a no-brainer.

I just got 3 months for $1. I have been able to either get 3 months free or 3 months for $1 if I am able to let my service expire for like a week

Thanks, it worked! I cancelled last Friday, they did not want to work with me on a deal no matter how much I tried. Best they could do was 9.99, I said no thanks.

There is nothing on SiriusXM that is worth my time to do that song and dance.

That's part of why I'm confused. Vietnam radio on Pandora, I'm good. I mean, Sirius comedy is interesting, but not to the point of what Satellite Radio costs.
