Every bad thing I've ever heard about the USPS but never experienced is true for AMZL US. Today, they've given up all pretense of tracking the two orders. Now, they just say:

quote:

Now expected today
We're sorry your package is late
We're working to get your package back on track, and we'll let you know when your package is out for delivery.
Please come back tomorrow if you still don't have it and we'll help you out.
Was expected Sunday, November 18

"Details" haven't been updated since yesterday. This makes four fubar orders in the last three weeks or so.

Mine now says this after they could not locate my package after arriving in Baton Rouge on Friday:

Your refund will be issued within 2-3 business days after we receive the original shipment. Your package is returning to Amazon because of one of the following reasons: It was either damaged in-transit, the carrier could not locate your address, or because of one of the other reasons for undeliverable packages.

LOL

Oh and what are the chances that original package gets back to them? If they knew where it was they would get it to me!

2 of mine that were due to arrive Saturday. Theyve since been marked as undeliverable - missing or damaged package. Amazon is shipping replacements and gave me a $5 credit.

This holiday season using Prime is going to be more fricked up than a Soup Sammich.

You know it is bad when your order consists of two boxes. Box 1 of 2 came to my house. Box 2 of 2 went next door. Not a horrible screw up compared to others, but seriously how do you frick that up?

This will hurt Amazon in the long run if they cant tighten ship here. 2 day prime has turned into 3-4 days w/ 50% chance you have some sort of setback getting your order.

Probably location specific. We've had their in house delivery for a while and now it's very reliable. I suspect it'll probably smooth out for the Louisiana folks too.

Wife and I have ordered close to 2 dozen things from Amazon over the last couple of weeks, and haven't had a single shipping issue. We may have missed the 2-day window a time or two, but I haven't really been paying attention since they're all Christmas gifts and I don't really care when they arrive.

We had been getting pretty poor service from Amazon and had pretty much stopped using it, so it was a bit of a surprise to have no issues.

After having to refund the missing package yesterday, a second shipment was marked as delayed yesterday as well. This morning it said I could expect the package today—but the tracking has again stopped and there is no way to check. I don’t see the item getting here today (which is already late). I cancelled my prime membership today.

My issues continue on with the AZL delivery. I'm on my third chat with them in as many days. Christmas presents are not going to be ordered via Amazon. They've eroded all trust I had in them in a manner of weeks. USPS seems like a gold standard of delivery compared to this crap.

Eroded trust is exactly how I feel. And I told them repeatedly that it is a sad day when the USPS outperforms you. Somehow I think this was lost on Pakriti.

They upped it to a $10 credit this time complaining. I won't be using it on Christmas gifts or anything time sensitive.

I guess Amazon has finally jumped the shark. I have two packages in a vortex of confusion here in Baton Rouge since Friday. It is mind boggling that they have no idea where theses packages are their solution is to reorder both items. When I asked if I could request a carrier other than Amazon they said no that the carrier was determined by a computer I asked if it was the same computer that can’t locate my packages, she didn’t get the joke but did refund two months of prime for not living up to their standards.

Exactly. I pulled a couple of orders forward to avoid BF nonsense, and I got screwed for my trouble.

Last night their solution was to transfer me to the logistics team. Gave my phone number and after 8 minutes of hold music and no voice or sign that it wasn’t a dead end, I hung up. Tonight they cancelled another order of mine and replaced the order. Plus $10 for my troubles. I’m not sure what I expected but it’s beyond frustrating

lol, that's what happens before they punt it tomorrow, stop updating tracking, and change it to "Now expected today". "Not expected today" would be accurate.

Here's my latest. After three tries at shipment, my package has now been marked as a problem with the address and it's on me to get in touch with Amazon to clear it up.

I've had 200 shipments to where I live now with no problems.

This is probably my last straw for Prime. If I'm getting 5 day to 2 week shipping with shitty service, I can do that for free.

I can do better than that buying from Wal-Mart.

ETA: Praveen just disconnected me from chat to discuss my concerns because I didn't respond fast enough. I had been transferred to Praveen from Vishnali in Amazon customer service because my concern was with Amazon Logistics. They took five minutes to finally connect, then dropped my chat session in a minute because I was in another window and not waiting breathlessly at my keyboard for them to respond at their leisure. I'm guessing my disappointment with Amazon isn't making the proper waves on the subcontinent.

Prime cancelled. I'm going to use the shite out of it until what I already paid for ends for the most minor crap. Yeah, I'm petty, but at this point, frick them. They sold me a bill of goods they're not delivering on (pun convenient). If they turn it around before my benefits stop, I'll consider renewing when my current membership runs out.

I had one package they marked undeliverable saying it was a problem with my address. I finally contacted them after days of nothing and the chat rep said it was "lost carrier" and sent a second delivery which I did get yesterday.

Now they're saying my monthly subscribe and save package won't be able to be delivered because it's damaged. They are a fricking mess right now. This is crazy.

When you chat them they'll blame the carrier which is themselves in all of these cases. No addresses are really undeliverable, no packages are damage I'm sure. They're just losing track of everything somehow. It's a shite show.

I asked the guy (Ahmed per the chat name but he id'ed himself as Sherrif) about getting $10 credit because I had read others got it and he made sure to say well Idk anything about other customers but separately I'll give you $10 as a courtesy.
