I came here just to see if this thread existed. About half of my orders are now delayed. One drug out over a week and the Amazon app encouraged me to request a refund this morning. I did and reordered. 15 minutes later it tells me that cxld order is out for delivery. That of course never showed either.

Nothing yields confidence quite like a plain clothed guy delivering your shite in their personal Impala.

I'm in a chat with them and pointed out 5 delayed shipments this week, some are work product that we relied on. I was offered a $5 credit.

Yeah the $5 credit. I was issued one and still haven’t seen it actually show up on the account. I am not sure I’ll be renewing either nownghat I can drive up and have my groceries brought to the car in five minutes.

Still waiting on a Prime shipment that UPS got on the 12th. It's supposedly been in my city since last Thursday, and went out for delivery both Friday and Saturday.

Looks like I'll be getting another 6mos of free prime. What a shite show they have become

Amazon delivering in employees/ contractors personal vehicles and in plain clothes is a really bad idea. Who the hell thought of this? All it takes is one robbery and they will get sued, and it’s not if but when that will happen.

FWIW I’m prime but for most items I order I pick the no hurry shipment option and it usually comes in 3-5 days and I get the $1 pantry credit. If you are in a big city the 2 day shipping makes sense as you have everything at your disposal already. I don’t so 3-5 days is almost more than enough for me.

The plain clothes employee vehicles is such a terrible idea. I buy/sell shite on craigslist and my wife has one rule. No one ever at our house, so having random folks drive up and drop off my packages sits poorly with her.

I'm waiting on some enterprising BR local to put a tracking app on their phone and let their buddy follow behind them by 15 minutes. Car 1 drops off, takes picture proving it was there. 15 minutes later, Lil Ray Ray picks up the package.

I'm in this boat as well. Something was supposed to be delivered last thursday. Still not here. The new BR facility is apparently ruining everything. Go figure.

I’ve got a shipment just sitting there saying “undeliverable address”. Wierd cause I seem to get all my other orders just fine.

This just started with these new delivery trucks.

Not sure what the problem is. They're running a state of the art fleet of delivery vehicles and top notch employees.

Still haven’t received my item. Had another one today go from an expected date of today to Saturday. But don’t worry, a guy named Pakriti is all over it at customer service. What are the chances he is local?

Here's a new one. They actually delivered 1 of my 5 or so...marked it as handed to resident so he didn't have to bother with a picture Ring Video of delivery.
Notice they have a package runner and driver...but at least it was an official van

I'm getting a little concerned about my driver. My delayed package has been out for delivery all day, yet when I check my driver's location, he hasn't budged from his spot on Airline @ I-12. Hope he's OK.

How do you check driver location?

Mine is still lost in Baton Rouge since Friday. I’m assuming whoever they hired to do deliveries must just choose some to open and take home and then mark them as delayed and then lost.

"Track Package" displays "Out for delivery" with a fake deadline and a map that's stuck on "220 stops away."

I tell ya, if they ever get this working, it's gonna be slick, but meanwhile, if my order doesn't come tonight, I'll be complaining about getting an email last night telling me my order's delayed a couple days, followed by an email today telling me it's out for delivery and arriving by 9 PM, only for it not to arrive. I know Bezos is pissed about $AMZN losing its $1 trillion market cap, but this is bullshite.

Same thing happened to me. Delayed after if got to Baton Rouge. After 4 days, they say the delivery address is wrong. Same address that hundreds of other orders went to. Had to cancel the order.

Got the $5 inconvenience offer.

So, I ordered two more things Friday at the same time. Both supposed to be delivered today.

One made it at 9:00 this morning and the other is delayed(they say until the 21st)

The tracking shows it still in Birmingham.

I don’t get it.

Now you're catching on.

BTW, my package they emailed to delay last night, and emailed this morning promising tonight by 9, didn't make it. I'm looking forward to their next flippity floppy email.
