Ok... I followed the USA vs. NED game and followed on here. I heard a lot of basically that guy stinks why is he even in. I also watched the last two U-20 games on DVR. Thinking about all these players plus ones that did not make the trip to Holland. Name your personal starting 11 for the Senior National and formation. Also name some of the subs on the team if you had to win an important game tomorrow.

Guzan; Cameron, Brooks, Besler, Garza; Johnson, Bradley, Bedoya, Dempsey; Johansonn, Altidore

This, to me, is the best XI. I don't know if they all play the best together but I would say this is the best back line, midfield, and forwards we could put out there.

Guzan's been the better keeper for a couple of years now.

Borderline retirement. Isn't it the general consensus that we won't have him for 2018?

say wut

Howard was amazing for club and country last year.

Guzan couldn't even take Given's starting Cup spot even though he picked up a knock.

Guzan has had some derps this year.

Tim Sherwood's a moron.

So has Howard.

Guzan's distribution is much better.

The Belgium match was more down to poor finishing than great goalkeeping.

What a TN Bhoy thing to say. Guy sets World Cup record for saves in a match. Instead of crediting the player you blame the other team

Yedlin has to be included in any A squad, IMO. His pace creates opportunities.

Depends on the game. Might be times where Cameron is a better fit, might be times where Yedlin is.

I'll go

Howard/Guzan
Yedlin-Cameron-Besler-Garza
Bedoya-Jones-Bradley
Dempsey-Jozy-Fabian

This.

Give me another CB and push Cameron either right, or to DM behind Bradley. I think I'd even be okay with Alvarado and Besler in the center, even though they're kind of the same player.

Right now, I think Yedlin is best served as a change of pace off the bench.

Have people already forgotten about Fabian Johnson as a RB?

No, he has transitioned into a wide midefielder or even winger for us.

I like Fabian better at left wing. We don't have dynamic wing options so he's a great asset there. There is a bigger drop down between him and the the next best option at wing than there is between him and the backup RB.
