For sure. I’m signed up for a marathon in a few weeks. A small, local race. It should still go. Really just looking forward to an in-person event again. ...
Congrats to you and Roots. Strong work. We’ll need those race reports on our desk by Monday. ...
Some strong work on here this morning. I managed to get in a Covid turkey trot then induce a food coma. A good day indeed....
Hey Roots, if we didn’t live in different states, we could’ve gotten in 18 together this a.m. Hope the WRM guys had good races. Conditions in AR weren’t ideal for a marathon this morning. 100% humidity with temps climbing into the mid-60s by the end of my run....
Good luck to all you marathon and WRM runners. Everybody is looking primed on Strava :usa: We're gonna need a team pic for the board at WRM. Shirtless and split shorts required, of course. ...
I had the same thought about my Razor 3s the other day. I've only put 70 miles on them, but they look like your Speed Elites. They've already lost traction and feel dead. If you're looking and NBs, there are some good deals out there on the FuelCell Rebel. A light shoe with a moderate stack he...
Not 2 minutes later he's cussing me out over the phone talking about how I need to "trust the process" and "are we going to this or not". I said "it be a lot easier to trust you if your plan didn't look like "week 6 of a Hanson's beginner marathon" plan. That got him hot, boy.
Lol...
I gave him two and a half years of my running history. He obviously didn't look at it.
You sure you didn’t accidentally send him mine? ...
Big 5K time trial for me today. Would be stoked with anything sub-18:30.
Good luck, man. You're gonna put in a fast time :dude:...
I'm pretty lucky. I can go down by the river where it's totally flat aside from a few bridges. Or if I want to grab some hills, I can run anywhere else around or hit a few of the trails in driving distance. ...
New Balance FuelCell Rebel to try. They look comfortable.
I like mine a lot. They are very comfortable for what I would probably call a tempo day shoe. They have a good bit of cushion for a shoe in their category while keeping a light weight. Not always a fan of a knit upper, ...
I just wanted to jump in here and say that your HR seems totally normal to me, based on my experience using HR as a training marker. For reference, I have a max HR slightly above 200. My aerobic HR is right at 154 bpm. My average marathon HR is usually around 165, and my average heart rate for ...
Nice job, man. Seemed like it went by pretty quick to me ...
Congrats! There are some people in this thread getting after it. I'm about to go get in my easy run for today - enjoy some of this nice weather ...
Ha yeah, I'm the same. My buddy is a cheap sob though. I'm just impressed the outsoles haven't disintegrated yet....
As long as they fit your foot, you should enjoy the Clifton 6. They are good everyday/recovery trainer. They're durable too - my running buddy has 1,000 miles on his. I've got 250 on mine and they look great....
Melted out there today on my easy run with some hills. Klimat app said 95% humidity. First time in a while I was soaked after a routine run. The spring glory days for running will be coming to an end soon. The weather here these last 3 weeks has been kick-arse for running though. ...
Nice one, brah. Y'all might be inspiring to look into one of these virtual races this spring....
I haven't posted in here in a while. Burt, nice race man. The time was impressive. May be more impressed you were able to push it until the wheels fell off on a solo run. Based on your Strava times, I've been thinking you'd go for sub-2:30 in the fall. Seems very doable  I'm pretty...
