Unfortunately, that may be the only one, SP. Not sure we can even beat ETSU...

But we can beat some Yankee arse!
Random question. When did Morris start using his left foot? The running joke (and reality) was that he literally would not ever use it. He looks very willing to use it now. It's such a silly thing but noticeable.
Only slightly better than UT's football program. :banghead:

(I actually have no idea.)

Stidham is still having to rush to get his shoulders and hips flipped while setting his feet. If you're going to do it, at least do it so your QB is moving to the side where he can set and fire quickest. Why did both of those plays require him to flip his body 180 degrees?

Or acted on it.

I think it is more about this than whether he sees it or processes it. Stidham never looked comfortable in the offense. I don't know if that was because Chip and Gus were clashing, and he was uncomfortable with how they would each handle situations. It was just pre-season, but he has looked fantastic in the NFL and is Brady's backup. You don't get that spot if you cannot recognize and understand simple concepts like "run the hot route to an uncovered receiver."
Good boy.

It's obvious that you absolutely missed my point but you need to keep doing you I guess.

I think most of us got your point. It's just a ridiculous overreation. There's a limit to how much work a guy can put in and be useful. It's why normal college students don't just take 30 hours and graduate in 2 years. Ever hear the phrase "paralysis by analysis"? I should remember who it was, but a prominent QB last year talked about how he was watching so much film that he was trying to know literally everything a defense was doing to the point that he had too much information to make quick decisions. That QB had Peyton Manning (the guy who is known as probably the most prepared QBs ever) tell him to relax and watch film until he felt comfortable that he knew what the defense would do and not overdo it.

I'm not saying whether Bo is a film junkie or not. I don't know if he is putting in the right amount of work in the weight room, on the practice field, or with film. I have no idea. However, this interview is certainly not hurting him IF he is already doing the right things. If a couple of 10 or 15 minute interviews send him spiraling, Nix simply isn't mentally sound enough to be an elite QB already.

He led off a press conference by saying something along the lines of: let’s get this over with; you guys just make stuff up anyways

Remember something to that effect happening. I get it when the media wants to talk X's and O's. I love getting into that stuff, too. Most fans don't understand the difference in a dive, lead, split-zone, or whatever. They just see a run up the middle and want to know why the coaches thought THAT run up the middle would work when the last 5 didn't.

Defense is harder for an observer to understand what the call was. Someone really looking at it earnestly with a fair understanding, which who knows with media types, can still struggle to understand who messed up on a play. You might have two corners playing man while everyone else zones. Then the slot corner plays man, so he looks like he is in the right spot but is the one who blew it.

LSU, with the 2nd pick of the first round, selects CNB, USC-East.

Well, shite, he's the only ... Wait! Vandy takes Carolina_Girl. There's only like 6 decent fans to take from those 3 groups. And we are not taking a Vol. Sorry, Prof.

Would it matter? Who could you really taunt? Ole Miss or Arkansas maybe?

Those complex Gus passing concepts. 2 receivers, throw to field or boundary.

You do realize it was a play with 15 seconds left in the game while already in FG range and down 1, right? We did not have a timeout. A sack, tackle in bounds, or turnover loses the game. Simple design there is smart. Either you get the one-on-one on the field side OR maybe you get a quick shot to the boundary before getting out of bounds to shorten FG.

Neal looked lost on the field. Guess the jump from MAC to SEC was too much for him.

A combination of the pass rush and high snaps (uggggh) could not have helped. Vandy won't face another defense like that this year (maybe LSU). The snaps will improve for the Purdue game, or someone else will be under center by LSU. Oh, and the starting LT and LG will hopefully be healthy soon. With Purdue then a bye week before LSU, there is some time for them to recover unless it's a SERIOUS injury.

This isn’t that impressive... UT does this every 2 years, at the end of 5-7 campaigns.

Honestly, I think this may have been more invaded than even UT. I've been at the last 4 Vandy-UT games in Nashville. None of them were this bad in my estimation. It was surreal. I did not have any issues with UGA fans though, which was not the case in 2017.
Nah, I think most people will mostly forget this after this season. This wasn't a UT team expected to do great things. People talk about the App State upset over Michigan because of how Michigan was viewed going into the season.

I will never understand this mentality. I'm not saying anyone is wrong for feeling this way. To me, sports are 100x more fun in person. No, I may not have every replay angle, but the crowd and experience is way more fun than the couch.
I really need the All-22 view of this play

What happened yesterday shout definitively kill the idea that recruiting rankings mean anything. Of course, it won’t.

No, it says that even great talent can be ruined by idiotic coaching. The recruiting rankings are FAR from perfect. They miss on players, but the general team rankings tend to end up giving a decent idea of how teams are overall.
