For a guy like yedlin a move like this doesn’t bother me. Yedlin is at his ceiling and at this point is a bench guy on any final USMNT roster. His selling point will be his experience and pretty steady outings everytime he plays for the national team. Given that I think yedlin is a pretty good bet to make the final roster if he is playing regularly. If consistent minutes are in the MLS.
Especially if Brooks doesn’t get back in the national team picture I think Berhalter will value yedlin’s leadership.

Oh it was only a matter of time before he finally came back to MLS, but I'm just a little surprised he's doing it in a World Cup year where he has definitely not locked in his spot on the final roster.

Source tells me George Bello and Atlanta United have agreed to terms with Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld, whose interest was first reported by @GrantWahl.
