That was great. All respect to cape Verde but that was so much more impressive they went for it big time

Portugal played like some slapdicks. Both in skill and just being douchebags.

Portugal just looked like they have no idea what they want to do in the final third. They had no plan

It appeared to me Ronaldo was more of an on-field spectator

Yeah much different games. Spain had like 27 shots. Congo had more shots than Portugal

Spain is more shocking because they’re one of the 2 best teams in the world and Cabo Verde has 1 player from a Top 5 league. Congo has like 10 and everyone else is at least from somewhere in Europe
Congo would be the 3rd most talented team in CONCACAF right now by a lot

Henry and Zlatan calling Ronaldo selfish without saying that.

What's everyones thoughts on England?
On the one hand it would be amazing to see them crash out in the group stage
On the other hand a potential R16 matchup with us on July 4th in Philly seems too poetic to deny

Comforting to know that Peter Crouch is still a gangly goofy frick

I mean, I'll want to beat England on July 4th in a knockout game 10/10 times.

I usually like the England team's talent but hate the way they play, similar to France
Except France actually turn it on and England never do
They equalize on some set piece in the 85th minute of the easy bracket knockout rounds and somehow make the semis playing awful tactics
So I think it would be hilarious for them to crash out early given they've made 3 semis in a row off slightly more than pure luck

What's the pathway for this to happen?
From what I'm looking at, Group L has no connection to either of the R16 matches on 7/4

There's just no way that Portugal think their best bet is continually roll out Ronaldo for 90 min every game.
Hes had 1 goal in major international tourneys since the 2022 World Cup, and even that was a PK
ETA: Lost non penalty goal in major tourney is 2018

How many poor souls today make the mistake of becoming a Cowboys fan after visiting AT&T Stadium?

Well, I heard that on talk radio earlier but the official schedule doesn't line up with that:
E and I would be a potential Germany vs France
That would put us potentially against Belgium
