Sure.

On another note, are we getting the same announcer for the final?

Hate that guy.

England has more likable players on their team than probably in their entire history combined baw

I remember 20 minutes ago when I thought they subbed Martinez in too late.

It's not coming home... again... as England suffers terrible heartache once more

With more than 80 minutes gone & down 1-0... Argentina scores in the 85th minute to equalize & the 2nd minute of stoppage time to pull out the come from behind victory

The defending world champs will look to make it back-to-back World Cup titles on Sunday against Spain

The 3 lions are left wondering what might have been as they will take on France Saturday in the 3rd place match

Loved the way Argentina was at least pressing and putting some sort of pressure on England at the end there.

England did absolutely zero of that for 30 minutes.

Obviously it’s easier to do that with so little time left, but man, you gotta make Argentina at least work a little bit.

huh? It was very predictable actually.

Argentina has looked shakey winning games late.

This is England's most talented teams in a long time.

Spain has looked beatable.

You don't have a Xabi/Casillas pairing, or Pogba/Mbappe or Messi 4 years younger, or Ronaldinho and Kaka Brazil. If they could have held on, they had a very good shot and for as long as it's been since they've won the cup and ALL of the talent they do produce....

That's a huge loss.

??? Against the best team in the whole pool?

Being up 1-0 is never a guarantee against anyone.

???

Real blue collar English blokes are some of the coolest mfs on the planet. I just got back from London a couple weeks ago and the true Brits (not the new pissed off Middle Easterners) are extremely nice and welcoming. I feel terrible for them, that was an all time choke job.

This is probably the correct final. Champion of Europe vs. Champion of the Americas.

I'm all in on Messi lifting another and retiring in peace as the best to ever do it and the best that WILL EVER do it

It's a big loss but they weren't expected to get quite this far and def. not in the final.

France losing to Spain 2-0 was far worse. France was the favorite to win it all.

If England had won this... I was going to ask if the main storyline would be the potential irony of England winning it all in the US during the America 250 celebration

Alas... we don't have to ask

England got that goal and just completely stopped playing.

Absolutely insane.

Argentina looked like the far better squad for most of the 90 minutes. I know this is an England choke, but it doesn't feel as bad as others they've had in the past.
