New Zealand just scored the first goal of the World Cup.
Up 1-0 against Norway in the 48th minute.
Sam Kerr announced she’s out for the first two games at least with an injury. Brutal for Australia.

Just tried to watch some of that. I don't know what was more annoying, the bad soccer or the ugly chicks, though Australia did manage to string together three passes at one point. Maybe have them play in bikinis like beach volleyball?

To be fair, in this instance, she is a woman named Rebecca Quinn that now just goes by Quinn because she says she is gender fluid, so that actually isn't a dude.
Anyways, I sometimes enjoy the slower pace of the womens game because it's easier to see the passing triangles form when watching from a coaching/tactical standpoint. With that said, I won't actively be paying attention until we get to the knockouts. Maybe I'll watch USWNT/Netherlands group stage match since it's a rematch of the 2019 finals.
