We should sticky a thread dispelling all the shitty suggestions on how to make soccer better and throw in some FAQs as well
Your question made me laugh, Chris.
(like you said, it's too easy

Makes threads for normal soccer board posters for different discussion. Just secretly title them as like Nottingham Forest Offseason Thread.

It might be tough to filter through the shite that will pop up on here during the WC but I'm going to have to sadly avoid this board during the day if I want to watch games unspoiled at night anyway.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. World Cup is for live viewing.

I very rarely venture to the Movie/TV Board, but if we end up with something like the "reader"/"non-reader" threads, I will troll both of them
Just stick stupid, philosophical threads on the More Sports Board, and let posters who don't follow soccer regularly know that their questions might not be answered immediately in the middle of a game

I have a job
ETA: I did happily put in for my vacation day for the Germany game though. All US games will be watched live.

I'm not sure where that Braves cap is at now but I'd like to find it.
I like the Braves but I was referring to the other hat. The one that makes you look like a cabbie. Those hats are cool as frick. I wore one from time to time when I lived in France and people kept thinking I was English

yeah that's the only shite that is annoying. along with the "take away offsides" or "how to improve soccer" threads.
Maybe there should just be a stickied all uppercase lettered thread at the top of the page to discuss (efface) these topics along with "how much would the USA dominate if athletes like Chris Paul played soccer?"
I do however like the influx of new posters as long as they don't come in with the arrogant idea that they can easily "improve" the game.

Me too, hopefully some will stick around and become fans of the sport for more than twice a decade. The more interest that is generated in soccer the better it will be for all of us.
