I was too wasted to post by the end of that game. Probably would have gotten banned anyway.

I'm not going to lie, I got chills reading everything after the bottom of page 42.

I'd like to think that is the day the soccer board was born.

Yeah, I honestly don't give a shite about scores in the title, but I have no idea why their absence pisses people off so much since you can find better and more complete information elsewhere. If we end up with a sticky explaining the rule, we probably need to include websites that don't suck since ESPN's online coverage of live soccer is a dumpster fire.

Even with the no scores in the title rule that doesn't keep threads about the game from being started afterwards that clearly reveal what happened in their thread titles.

The focus of the soccer board is pretty narrow. If you come here after a big Premier League or US game, it's getting spoiled, and I would hope that people who are trying to avoid scores realize that, but for the most part, discussion is confined to either the match day thread or another thread that doesn't give too much information away with the title.

Unless something big happened in the game, the discussion is usually confined to the matchday or team specific threads.

I'm totally starting a Nottingham Forrest Postseason Thread. That idea is brilliant.

But I'm not even kidding. We'll have our hidden serious discussion in there away from all the OTards

Good thinking. But then we would have to do that with every new page.

I'm ready. I don't care if they're "bandwagon" or not, I enjoy seeing this country get excited about soccer.

I got two downvotes for saying we should hide away from the OTards. Clearly a conflicted bunch, those.

I don't have a problem with non traditional posters coming here for the World Cup. But it's definitely gonna bring those people who are gonna say how terrible we are after a loss and that's why soccer will never take off in America.

How does this board shape up comparatively (stat wise)?

Discarding the OT and SEC Rant before analysis, of course.
