Who had injuries stop them from being considered in the “best of all time” tier?

Like for example, Marco Reus had the potential to be one of the best German players of all time. Has the pace of a winger, the technical ability of a number 10, and the finishing of a top striker. He’s also a set piece legend. Constant injuries held him back though. Who else is/ was similar?

Ledley King.

Knees absolutely abandoned him.

Michael Bridges had a 20 goal season for Leeds then dislocated his ankle against Besiktas, ruptured his achilles the next season, then tore his acl the following year.

He snapped his hamstring in half and it was never reconnected back then surgically, like it would have been today...

But he did win the Ballon d'Or... still never the same after the hamstring issues..

I also think Studge was robbed of his best years because he could never stay fit..

One non-LFC player was Pato... all the talent in the world, but could not stay fit for very long..

Ronaldo is clearly #1. He had a chance to be GOAT but-for his knee injury

Kaka is #2 in modern times, imho
