I am starting to believe Sands comes in as the last defender over Palmer-Brown, Morris is left off, and the final three spots come down to Tillman, Haji, Sargent, Pefok, and Vasquez.
No Ream, Brooks, Palmer-Brown, Roldan, or Dike (injuries taking the latter two out although I never had them in).

So is CP stuck at Chelsea? Seems like no new news over the last couple of days.

Antonee Robinson subbed off with a non-contact injury to his ankle.

I saw that, not great.

Yeah, it did not look good.
We didn’t know our backup left back before this. Hoping this doesn’t really complicate things.

How’s Sam Vines been playing?

Ankle injuries aren’t really worse for being non contact like a knee injury would be. I would bet most ankle injuries are noncontact. I didn’t see it but read he kind of twisted it weird. Hopefully not out long. Most ankle injuries are not serious and do not require prolonged time off.

Good list, but they need goal scorers. Pepi was the spark they needed when he was called up. I'd include Sargeant too if he continues playing well in the PL.

Pepi hasn't scored a goal for club or country since October 2021.

Wright and Sargent are in the form of their life.
Pefok has been outstanding for his club all of last year and has played just as well in the Bundesliga.
Ferreira and Vasquez are playing really well in MLS.
In terms of NT play, only Ferreira has looked good and played only 13 games. However, from a form standpoint, our guys are very sharp right now. Pepi has been poor for almost a year now and he’s a youngster who doesn’t have the luxury of years of strong performances to keep him in the conversation.

Replay: LINK
After seeing replays of the Robinson injury I’m a little more concerned. His toe gets stuck in the ground and his heel slides with his momentum, creating an external rotation force at the ankle. This is likely a deltoid ligament sprain (medial ankle) or a “high ankle sprain” (the ligament that connects the two lower leg bones). These can have a longer layoff than your typical inversion ankle sprain. Tua Tagovailoa had two really bad high ankle sprains that required surgery but still came back in the same season. Those injuries probably carried a lot more force than Robinson’s though, having seen all three.

This may be blasphemy, but I'm starting to think our midfield would be a lot more dynamic if we had Adams/Musah/Reyna with McKennie coming off the bench.

He’s too big of a threat on set pieces to drop. At this point it’s MMA with Reyna playing wide or coming off the bench.

Yep, at least Weston is playing. Although do you put Reyna ahead of Weah on the right?

Or Aaronson?
Musah, Adams, McKennie in midfield, with Pulisic and Aaronson on the wings

Yeah, I think it looks that way atm.
Gregggg doesn’t hide his love for Mate, BA, Musah, and Adams. He’s had the rift with Weston, and can only feel conflicted with Reynas status.
