I want an identity. Germany white shirt black shorts, italy blue shirts white shorts, argentina has their stripes, Croatia the checkerboards, , les blues etc

I was a fan of that as well. Of course, our '94 jersey's also provided identity, and I wasn't a fan of that.

FIFA's word cup kit rules is forcing teams to where mono-colored kits. Or at least 'light' and 'dark'. Germany will be wearing white shorts with their white tops. Portugal will be wearing red shorts with their red tops. Spain will be wearing red shorts with their red tops. A kit isn't necessarily your 'identity'.

You won't even be able to see the red stripes. Besides we had a similar design for the 2010 qualifying. No one was bitching about them then.

I also prefer blue shorts on the white shirts as well, but complain about it to FIFA. They are the ones forcing all nations to be mono-colored this year.

I like the kit. Its simple and clean. So it has a collar. So what? I also like that its something you could wear casually and it wouldn't look too out of place unlike the Waldo shirts (although I did/do love those).

Amazing jersey. Best we've had, maybe ever. Classic soccer jersey. The material will be vastly different than a golf/tennis polo.

I like the jersey but I also own an England kit from 2004 with a collar as well.
