What, you didn't expect him to trash his current (former) coach?

Journalists ask the dumbest questions sometimes.

That wasn’t even the question. The question was “do we need a European coach” to be a successful national team.

Weston is Team Gio. We all know it.

I would probably bet the opposite

Our current coach is not European. Read between the lines. If he answers the question "Yes", he's implying that our current American coach is not what we need.

Anthony Hudson is british my guy.

Why are you still acting like Gregg is the coach, he's not. Wes has nothing to gain by simping for him. Believe or not, some players liked playing for Gregg, and not just Aaron Long.

McKennie loved Gregg. He would hug him first during goal celebrations. He wasn’t one of the players liking Gio’s insta post about the WC incident (how many did? Like 4 or 5. Turner liked it then unliked it lol). Even after Weston got disciplined McKennie’s dad was making Twitter posts supporting Gregg and what he was doing. I know I will never detumesce y’all’s hate boner for Gregg so I’m probably wasting my time here.

I wish they would just hurry up and hire someone. They’ll probably just leave Hudson as interim for a few years and then hire Jonathan Bornstein or some frick for the World Cup.

They said that the search firm was gonna find a GM first before they even make any decisions on head coach. So you're probably spot on as usual OMB

Some frick as player manager sounds good to me. I hope he’s a forward.

They are waiting for a current club manager.

This is correct. He's British and not European. It's only Americans who identify the British as European, whereas the Brits don't even identify themselves as being European.

Why is that so hard to believe? It won't be Mourinho, that was very clearly leaked as a smokescreen, but they are definitely going that route with the reports that have dropped.

Hi Gregg, fancy seeing you here. What are your future plans, will you coach in US or go abroad?

Marsch is going to be available if he doesn't do any better than today in the next couple weeks. An American that's coached in the EU seems a nice middle ground.
