Love Chris Richards.

I fricking love this from our squad!
Really love Brooklyn Raines hyping the crowd on purpose right in front of the Chileans.
This team isn’t doing all this pre-Poch. The pride we show is beyond anything I expected from this squad in the recent past, and I’m here for it.

Brothers, Cavan may be just 16, but he is cock-strong and probably a bit psycho.

That’s about as entertaining of a friendly you can ask for considering the lineups.

Sloppy play from the goalies. That first goal was absurd and on our goalie. But love to see them claw their way back and earn a decisive victory against a comnebol team.

He is 16-year-old Pulisic

He’s also 17
He plays just like Pulisic did at that age. Almost like a naïve fearlessness that made Dortmund Pulisic such a menace.

frick it, start Cavan, Albert, and Hall against Mexico.
But JFC if I’m a (non retarded) Mexican fan watching what Cavan and Mathis are doing right now (as well as guys like Pierre, Hall, and Ellis) I’m probably pissing myself about how the next 10+ years of US-Mexico games look.

He’s as intense of a competitor as you will find. Per people who has been in camp with him he is also one of the smartest kids they’ve coached. His mentality though is simply elite. He’s also fearless. If he fricks up and doesn’t beat his man he will go at him again and again until he does. And then again. And again.
FWIW at a youth camp I got to talk to a high level scout for the fed and asked him who he thought had the higher ceiling and he said Mathis. Granted this was a year and a half ago and Cavan’s development over the past three months has been fricking insane. Frankly Albert has flown a bit under the radar because of how lights out Cavan has been in MLS. It will be interesting to see where he goes if city gets the death penalty. Barca are supposedly interested. Understudy to Yamal? Yes please.

Ha I appreciate it
Mexico tied Peru 1-1 with a second string lineup. Looks like they are playing their strongest lineup against us Saturday in Arizona. It will be a tough test for the young guns but I don’t think they’re scared.
