Even though Qatar looks good and I'm sure this is as good as they've ever been, it would still be embarrassing to get bounced in our own confederation's tournament by an invited guest team.

We lost to Brazil in 1996 and 2003 and Columbia in 2000.

Yeah.. when did Qatar start bribing FIFA with oil mo-, I mean seriously investing in soccer anyway? To lose to a country about the same size as Connecticut... oof. I know that doesn't matter when you start talking about really good European teams. But cmon it's fricking Qatar.

they basically naturalized an entire squad and i think everyone of them plays on one of 2 teams in the qatari league so they play together all year
