What an amazing result tonight. Basically we’re in. CR ain’t scoring more then two or three goals if they even get one. They’ve only score 11 in 13 matches

Busio was pretty poor today.
I have yet to watch him play for club or country and think “Damn he is really good”
Just always seems to be a step slow to react.
Crowd was electric tonight

The semantics here is that they have qualified to (at worst) face New Zealand or the Solomon Islands in the playoff... so they have "technically" clinched a spot out of the oct

We’re not officially qualified yet.

Did anyone besides Pulisic and Yedlin from this team make the trip to Trinidad?

Arriola started in that match and Acosta came off the bench.

Thanks. I thought there were 4-5 people. I can’t remember if Brooks was there (although he’s obviously not on the squad now).

Brooks was not called up by Bruce that camp, although he had been a part of that 2018 cycle, the only other player in that Trinidad camp that also had an appearance during this qualifying cycle was Tim Ream, but he hasn't been called up since the first window of this cycle.

So basically we need to lose by 10+ to Costa Rica to not make it

Can’t lose by 6 or more.

Saw a post earlier about just forfeiting to avoid injuries. Couldn’t we technically do that or no? Wouldn’t a forfeit be 3-0?

If we do that, we should be banned on principle.
