I do wonder if not having to go through Concacaf WCQ hurt us. The competition there isn't great but it does require toughness with the bullshite you have to deal with.

This may be it for US soccer for me. It’s the same thing every single time. We are not good enough and I don’t think we ever will be. I’ll follow it sometimes perhaps, but I’ll never believe we have a real chance.
Home World Cup, players all over Europe, we’re just not that good. There is something about our culture or geographic size or coaching or all of the above that make it just not in the cards.

US Soccer needs to be purged of the MLS shite. You aren’t going to develop players in that shite league. We don’t have enough quality.
