There is no home field advantage in the US, outside of maybe Kansas City, Seattle, Portland and Minnesota. This includes the broadcast.
Can you imagine watching a French national team broadcast in France vs England, and the announcers giving so much time and consideration to the English players? There would be riots all over France.
