there’s a million rounds of qualifying but the final round generally ends up being who is in it right now
so no, not errybody, just the 8 that make it to the final round

Historically, 1.5 points per game gets you in without the playoffs.
If we beat Jamaica on Tuesday, win just one game and draw one game the rest of the way (which won’t happen), we would get 1.5 points per game
Right now we are averaging 2 points per game.

This is the final round of CONCACAF qualifying. Other teams had a chance to get to this stage, but the region has terrible teams overall, so it’s usually the same players that make it this far.

Wait is that real? I just didn’t know the playoffs between confederations were already determined if that’s the case. Would much rather that scenario than having to play the 5th place south American or Asian team in the play in game if we did have to go play in route.

Yep, all of the Caribbean, Central America, the US, and Canada.
Weah was the best player today. Zimmerman and Steffen were the other standouts.
No one was particularly bad, I guess Miles Robinson to an extent.
