quote:so overrated. Just name recognition alone holding them up. 7 points in 6 games in WCQ and the 2 wins are against bottom 2 nations in SA. Don’t forget we also lost 5-1 in the run up.
If they are going to go toe-to-toe with Brazil, they need to beat down those who they are supposed to
I like Colombia at +300 to win group D over Brazil

I don’t disagree, but that isn’t a friendly we even have a chance to win anytime in the past.
If the team can succeed against that talent level, then we have to assume that they have a high ceiling.
If we don’t perform against lesser teams, or teams in general, as that would suggest then we need to reconsider who the manager is because the talent is here.
But we all know USSF doesn’t dabble in logic…

will be upset if we don’t see 3-0 or better. We have that kind of team.
Meh, Argentina beat Canada 2-0.
I’d be fine with a scoreline like that. First games of major tournaments can always be a slog. It’ll depend on how long it takes to get the first goal, because until we do, Bolivia will have no other interest than sitting 11 behind the ball

Interdasting that Pulisic gets the armband with Adams in the XI
Adams is likely on a minute count and will be out at half.

Pathetic how empty that stadium is. And I don’t blame people considering the prices

I hate that cavernous place. Honestly one of our better crowds there

Well Argentina knows who they are but I want the USMNT to exorcise some demons.

Most of these guys play for the top 3 Bolivian clubs who have done well in this years Libertadores. I watched Bolivar beat Flamingo but it was in La Paz.

The US Coach reminds me of the Pride Month version of Walter White. Complete lack of badasserry
