The overreaction by some to a meaningless game (yes, Stu, it was meaningless) is so typical.

American soccer has never been hotter or in the spotlight like it is now. After this game and if they lose the next one it will all be gone. That's a lot of pressure.

You think no tickets were sold until after our first two games?

Obviously not, but the match literally didn’t matter at all. So your original point of cost of ticket prices is completely irrelevant.

Poch (rightfully) didn’t give a shite that people paid thousands. Sucks for those people, but yeah, they paid thousands for a friendly.

People are freaking out about the equivalent of Alabama sitting every starter but a tight end and a linebacker and losing to Michigan on a last second field goal in a game with no postseason implications.

Y'all have got to chill.

lol no it’s not. Argentina lost a group stage game last World Cup. Spain lost one in 2010.

We lost our last group stage game in 2002 before dos a cero.

We played a game with our backups and outplayed Turkey. All this shows is Poch nailed the starting lineup. Ream is so much better than any other CB not Richards. Turner is fricking trash, Freese is the obvious choice.

The only issue is Pepi getting minutes over Haji. Pepi has been the worst guy getting real minutes all WC. He needs to be taken out to pasture

We can definitely lose to them, but we should beat them with our A team

Oh I agree but for whatever reason we just don’t fare well vs. UEFA under Poch. Tonight could’ve been his first non-loss

People will say the game didn't matter, obviously it didn't matter to advancing, but The Poch didn't put the starters in because it didn't matter.

He wanted a winner goal to carry the momentum into the next match, which aside from no injuries is the best thing you could carry into the next match.

Man I can’t believe how bad Turner is. How is that guy the backbone of your back line?

That would make sense if we have a long history of international tournament success with veteran leadership. You just witnessed a team that was way too overconfident and unprepared to play a relatively weak opponent that it should have easily beat

Well nothing really matters if you want to take that attitude.

He's like a spastic baby deer on asphalt back there. I can see why he concedes a lot of goals.

This is one of the most retarded things I've read since the WC started in many ways.

Jesus fricking Christ. This is like a team with the one seed and bye wrapped up in the NFL sitting their starters in week 18 and losing on a last second FG with backups.

Don’t care about the result. Don’t even care that the backline was tragic, all of those guys won’t play another minute outside of injury or bringing on an extra defender late to finish a result.

Care that Pepi, Reyna and Weah looked like pure arse. We need those guys if we want to make a deep run.

Did I miss something? I thought Turner was fine. He was good coming out for crosses and claims.

Yeah nothing about this match mattered at al

Would’ve been cool to win, but it has no impact on Bosnia

losing on a last second FG with backups.

Pulisic, Freeman, Dest, Tillman are all starters and it was more like giving up a walk off 60-yard pass TD on the last play of the game.

Weah was legitimately awful. Just a complete negative out there

And weren't on the field for 4 of the 5 goals scored in the game.
