I'm of the mind go pretty much full rotation. Wes and Tillman have put in a lot of hard minutes. Get those legs fresh for Wednesday. Have the yellow card 4 watching from Malibu. Give Puli and maybe a few others 30 if they are 100% healthy. If this isn't a game to play the likes of Arfsten then why the hell is he even on the squad.

I would be surprised if we see Pulisic. They are going to play it safe on the injury. There's no need to risk it if he's not 100%, which he probably isn't.

Bought tickets on a whim after we stomped Paraguay. Sad it's meaningless and won't get to see a lot of the starters, but excited to see Reyna and Weah get some run. Only my second USMNT game so that is exciting as well.

I feel you, but I’m torn today… A win is HUGE for the psyche of our backups, but a loss could shake their confidence against bigger competition.
I absolutely rotate almost the entire squad if I am Poch, but I think this game has big implications within the squad and can easily affect exactly how far we go in this tournament.

I think it's big for them to finally show themselves and the world that they can beat a UEFA squad, but historically, the last group match hasn't really had a momentum affect on our first knockout round match.
Hell, the one time in the modern era where we actually won in the knockouts, it came on the heels of us getting absolutely dominated by an already-eliminated Poland squad.

I hear you. I agree, even. It just feels a bit different this time around. I know confidence matters across the squad, so if our rotated squad plays poorly against Turkey I feel like it could hurt their mentality if we need to turn to them against a squad like Germany or whoever.
I think the angle I am coming from is that we trust our starters for sure, but between the depth in certain spots being not great and the internationally (meaning for Country rather than Club) “unproven” players like Berhalter, Arfsten, and Zendejas, I think there’s a clear delineation of who is value depth vs. bench fodder.
If that becomes obvious within the group, it hurts. That’s all I am saying.
I do believe that these guys are professionals, though. The likelihood of the problem being mentality instead of talent isn’t really huge.

I agree about our depth, which is why I'm interested in this match because I want to see if some of these guys can show something. We will need guys beyond our first choice XI to step up if we want to make any real noise in the knockouts.
