We had the better chances, we only looked stressed at the end.
Not to mention we were without Dest and Weston, both of whom could have made a huge difference in this match. Weston especially.

I can’t remember my heart rate being this low for a game at the azteca, ever. We should have won that, frick. Totally controlled the big chances imo, and our tactics completely put off the Mexicans.

USA beats Panama and they are guaranteed interconfederation playoff at worst. It would also take a monumental collapse against Costa Rica in last game to not finish top 3. Costa Rica would have a lot of GD to make up against us in final game for them to pass us. Currently +9 to +2
