C'mon man, you know better than this. We've had terrible games in all world cups.

Yeah I’ve watched us in several WC

Today showed we crumble under the slightest bit of pressure

Berhalter sounds like a guy with no accountability, no worry or concern about his performance.

Such a douchebag.

Turner was much more good than bad and it's not even remotely close.

You really need your hate boner for him to flaccid out.

The good news is that Wales/Iran is several hours before our game, so we'll know how we're looking.

I’m a Turner fan

But he almost cost us the game at the end

No idea what he was doing

Are you kidding, England would love to knock out Wales.

The US has only won 2 World Cup games since the end of 2002.

Congrats on the most depressing post of the day.
I watched most of 2002 and some of 2006.
Been an adult since then and haven't spared much time for World Cup games.
This stat confirms my decisions.

Time to pick an alternate team to cheer for during the remainder of the WC.
US not gonna make it out of groups with this assessment.

Doesn’t matter who is in charge

We’re mentally soft pussies, a lot like you, to be honest

We aren’t highly skilled and are not very tough at all, but look at it this way, we are still way better than Mexico. (Lol)

Whole game was shaky as frick, dominated first half but only had one goal. Zero adjustments to changes Wales made.
Wales played the only way they could and stay in the game and it worked. Iran will do the same with some other Muslim ref making sure we are fricked and that will be the end of this worlds cup.

These little boys just aren’t ready for prime time yet, they can use these upcoming arse kickings for motivation for future world cups. They need to hit the gym and beef up so they don’t get thrown around like rag dolls for one thing, and need more experience.

It’s not the end of the world, they will do better next time

That’s a reflection of leadership and the personality of the team

That’s on the manager bc he wants to to play like fricking Barca or City with an 8th of the talent

That’s not American soccer

He’s still trying to fit square pegs in round holes

This isn’t true at all. We just lack the coach to maximize their talent.

I don't think they are mentally soft. We just play in a system that is toothless in the attack. It's predicated on our young talent producing moments of magic to score, which is fricking flawed, but we manage because we have talent.

But then we frick it when we take that talent off (Weah, Musah) and not replace it with more talent (Acosta and Morris instead of Reyna)

Bruh, why are you giving a rational response to a poster while quoting a post where that poster called you a pussy

Agreed. Tons of potential in this squad. But when the situation calls for a quick change of tactics we don’t respond at all. That comes from the head honcho in charge.
