We need 3 big signings to realistically challenge for 1-2 next year.

We definitely need more midfielders & defenders. We need a faster, taller CB in my opinion

So awesome never doubted them for a second all season!

Now I guess is a good time to start patching up these living room walls. Ha, for real top 3 finish feels good. Hopefully the owners spend some dough.

I'd like a Fast, top CB to cover for Maguires slow speed, a left back/wing back that could actually put in a cross once in a while and attack. Shaw rarely puts the ball into the box. But Priority should be a right wing (Sancho), another midfielder that could create chances like Bruno (Grealish) so we don't have to play him every match to get a result, and also possibly a striker. Werner would've been perfect but Woodward didn't do a frickin thing like usual. Martial has been great since January but having a true number 9 that we're positive can score 20 a season would be nice. United need a lot. Certainly more than 3 signings, but Woodward won't make it all happen in one window. He'll wait until the last moment to pay the full asking price for a player after trying for 9 weeks to get a lower price. United need a director of football so Woodward will frick off when it comes to dealing with transfers and building the squad.

More Shaw hate. United needed Shaw that last several matches and a previous comment that Williams surpassed Shaw is laughable now. The team played so much better, on both sides, with Shaw and his attacking is well underrated. He may not have had the assists after lockdown, but he helped drive the left side. The difference from before he got hurt and after was real. But a back up LB for Shaw would be a good idea. Sell Dalot and make Williams backup for AWB.

I think Grealish is out. Villa stayed up and will want more money now. But you never know with Woodward.

1. Sancho
2. A young, true CDM (Ndidi would be awesome but not happening) because matic may have a new deal, but will be perform for 3 more?
3. Pacey CB
4. Backup CAM, and I wish Villa went down so grealish could be easier
5. For the love of God, not Josh King

The most likely scenario would be the current 11 but Sancho in for Greenwood. Think the other signings will be more squad players with starting quality

Shaw is definitely better than Williams but that doesn't mean United should just be happy with what they have. He did seem to get a bit better in attack but his best still isn't good enough. I'm tired of seeing Shaw with miles of space ahead of him yet, he slows the pace and looks infield to drop the ball off to Pogba, Matic, or Bruno. I'm also tired of watching Rashford come back for the ball and making the forward passes for Shaw. Not only that, he is a major injury risk. A player that is constantly injured does you no good. United would be in a much better place with a left back that has pace that could also put in a nice cut back or cross once in a while. When Shaw tried to cross the ball for the first time in 4 matches he twisted his ankle and missed out/will miss out on the last 6+ matches of the season. Saying all of this doesn't mean that I don't believe Shaw should start when healthy. He's obviously the best option United have. He just isn't great and if you want to be a top team nowadays, you need a left or right back that can assist in the attack and create some true width. It honestly sucks watching other EPL teams with left or right wing backs that put beautiful balls into the box or great cut backs while attacking and United gets a sideways pass infield or back to Maguire as soon as Shaw gets the ball past the center line. Since they have Shaw it may not be the first priority considering United have needed a RW for 7+ seasons, they need more depth in attacking midfield to rest Bruno (perhaps when Bruno needs to be rested, Sancho could play #10 and Greenwood could start at RW), they need a young CDM, and they need a fast CB. They could also use a true number 9 rather than playing Martial there (although that may cause an issue with Martials good spirits lately). There's a lot that needs to be improved upon to get this team challenging for the premier league and also in Europe again. Either way, I'm still happy United are back in the champions league and hopefully Woodward actually gets a few deals over the line quickly that will improve the starting lineup and squad depth. United looked completely gassed the last five matches.

Its not like you can pull quality left backs out your arse man. Sure you can always upgrade the position, but there arent many out there who immediately come in and do that, and if they do they aren’t going to be for sale. Look at teams like Juventus, City, PSG. All a tier above United at this point and their fans have much of the same gripe as you

Anything would be an upgrade at this point. Lucas Digne would be a great pickup. Ben Chilwell would be nice as well but extremely expensive coming from Leicester and being English. I looked a little more into Shaws career at United. While at United (6 premier league seasons) Shaw has been a part of the squad for 228 premier league matches. He has been out injured or out of the squad 111 times in those 228 premier league matches. And that doesn't include the other matches he missed for yellow/red card suspensions (4 matches), or where he was on the bench (17 matches). So in his 6 seasons at United, only accounting for premier league matches, Shaw has been out of the team or on the bench 132 matches out of 228. In the 96 premier league matches he's played in 6 full seasons at United, Shaw has provided 1 goal and 7 assists. Lucas Digne has 4 goals and 11 assists for Everton in 70 matches played over the last two seasons. Shaw has only played 26 more premier league matches than Digne while being at United (in the premier league) for 152 more matches than Digne has been at Everton. Now once again, Shaw is the best left back that United has while healthy. However, if United want to actually have their best talent at left back on the field more than 42% of each season, they should look elsewhere and find someone to bring in that will play more than 16 premier league matches out of a 38 match season. I know it sounds like im hating on Shaw, but top clubs make these decisions. United need to find someone not only capable of playing more than 16 matches a year but someone that's capable of providing more than 0.16 goals and 1.16 assists a premier league season. That's the last I'll say about Shaw until next season when I'll be pissed off that he's missing matches or incapable of attacking once again.

60 mil plus add ons would be a hell of a deal for sancho

I won't believe it until Fabrizio or Christian Falk tweet it out

Unless Dortmund completely flipped the switch in the past day there no way that happens. I think 80-85 with add ons bringing it to 100 is the magic number.

I agree with Sancho

I was hoping for Ndidi too, but possibly Abdoulaye Doucoure will be a signing we go for. He won't go down with Watford and he can play the front or the back of the midfield.

Nathan Ake I thought we'd have but he looks headed to City. Smh

Still hopes for Grealish, but it's grim.

Probably want a true 9, and I keep hear ing Raul Jimenez' name.

I’d imagine it would be academy kids and bench players against LASK at least

Kids and the Deadwood for lask

Then treat 2-3 games like pre season

Don't need to win it all, but the money and trophy would be nice
