I'm just an old, empty-nester single Dad that has been (happily) living a semi-hermit lifestyle for a few years now. I've been doing just fine and I think my semi-hermit lifestyle has finally paid off (though in quite an unfortunate way).
I would like to say, however, that I send all the thanks in the world to all you young people (and older) who are current military, first-responders, truck drivers, train engineers, pharmacy workers, nurses, doctors and other critical facets of our society who are out there keeping our United States of America semi-running. Thank you SO MUCH for doing what you are doing.
God bless ya all... salute!

Belgium just cancelled the remainder of the season and awarded places based on current standings. I don't see why EPL can't do the same especially when you have a team that's 25 points clear from the rest of the field.

Not if you freeze everything as is across the board. Sucks on an individual club level, but it causes less heartache moving forward as a whole.

Difference between PL and Belgium is Belgium had played 29 of 30 match days.
I don't think we see any major leagues abandon the season or freeze things as is until late this summer if things stay bad

Yup. Don’t get me wrong, I want us to play it out. I just think cancelling a season result with a team having clearly dominated all the way through 80% of the season is a good look.
I know for damn sure it is a bad look for fans of other clubs to beg for it. However, that’s also entertaining as frick to watch.

Even better if UCL is cancelled and we can call ourselves the current champions of England, Europe, and the world all next season until the next club World Cup (which I’m assuming we’d participate in again if there is no UCL winner this year?)
