I agree, hopefully this will be a teachable moment for Alisson and he understands that this is the PL and just move it off your feet. I would really like to see Fabhino get some time. We have a shite ton of matches coming up so everybody will get their chance. It should have been 3-0 but winning some ugly matches make me very happy as opposed to conceding that last goal. Look, our problem last year were draws against lesser teams, so far so good.

I really liked the influence Shaq had when he came in, I’d like to see more of him around the 65 minute mark. He is extremely direct in his running which creates issues with our attack around him. Like I said, we will see everybody real soon with our schedule.

was all ready to hand allison MOtM until that debacle. definitely VVD's worst game since suiting up for LFC. both fullbacks had a nice game. milner was bullish as always and got a few counters going, which we didn't capitalize on. i'm not sure what gini and hendo did today. really liked shaqiri's direct play going at goal and pressing the defense.

He barely got away with one last week. So I would expect more of these from him - just hopefully he'll learn that when there's a chance to boot it, just boot it.

Gomez was definitely MotM.

I thought a lot of our team looked fatigued out there. Even mid way through the first half. I also thought we didn't handle their pressure very well. They pressed and we had a hard time keeping possession. Our midfield was pretty bad most of the second half.

All that being said, not at our best, and still haven't dropped points yet. Can't wait for things to really start clicking.

For sure... So glad he's settling into the other CB role, for as much as we've talked about needing another one, at this point I'm more than happy with the 4 of:

VVD
Gomez
Matip
Lovren

Pretty much my exact thoughts. Gomez no doubt was MotM for me

And we knew what we were getting in Alisson so I’m glad we got it out of the way cause you knew it would happen sooner or later. I’m sure that will smarten him up at least for the second moment cause I have no idea why he didn’t just put it out behind him for a corner

That said m, despite the talk about last week and with this being an international break, we just looked heavy legged surprisingly outside of maybe Gomez and Milner. I’m sure the break will be good for some, then we have a heavy fixture list so it’s gonna be time to start rotating

Nonetheless, I will absolutely take 12 out of 12 from our first 4, but we still have a lot to work in to get back to the point we were at in the end of last year

Yeah, maybe the break will do us well and get us geared up for the season

I mean really it’s kind of comical at this point...

Have any of y'all purchased hospitality tickets for a match at Anfield? I'm trying to go to the Chelsea domestic cup match, but I'm having a hard time figuring out with hospitality package has the best seats. I'm not concerned with the lounge perks, just trying to get the best seats possible.

i bought from a broker and paid $$$$. The tickets showed up at the Hilton the morning of the match so there was great anxiety. I would be afraid i would get stuck at a table in a lounge in the stadium and have to watch on TV. I would call Anfield and nail it down.

Thanks, I ended up booking tickets directly with the club. Sitting in the middle section of the main stand, pretty excited for my first visit to Anfield.
