Yeah, the thing about that is not only is it incredible, but it will open up so much space between the defense and midfield when we counter attack. They won't be able to do anything but start taking steps backwards to prepare that vacating a ton of space underneath that their midfield is rushing back to try and fill.

Yeah, until that wound is healed enough so that it won't be busted open again by a normal headed ball, I don't expect to see Milly on the pitch.
Yeah, you can wrap his head, but that won't stop the concussion of the ball hitting his head and re-opening the wound... unless you use a LOT of wrapping maybe.

Skrtel's played with staples before. It can be done. It's probably not necessarily advised but it can be done 
That was a big cut too so I'd think they'd wanna wait at least a week to take them out so it would be cutting it close. Might have him wait until week 2 to be safe.

I said when he was signed, that I can easily see him in a 3 behind Bobby... Maybe not week in and week out, but def against certain set ups...
I still think we're at least one attacker short...
Also, some rumblings about James Tarkowski being a target... Burnley just signed Ben Gibson... maybe its a case of trying to put 2 and 2 together, but we have been linked previously... one to possibly keep an eye on in the next few days..

I seriously don't think we need more than 5 CBs (and that's not even counting the kid, Phillips, who played so well in the pre-season matches).
Now would you like to upgrade on one of them? Sure, I'm with you.

I expect Shaqiri to start in the bench and come on for Firmino since Bobby is still rounding into shape. If Milner is healthy, him, Gini, and Keïta start in the midfield.
