I was just reading about that this morning... if true and we're in a battle with Chelsea, I like our chances... Klopp vs Sarri? UCL or EL?

I dont mean that as disrespect toward Sarri.. more so in the established relationship and ability to build on that..

plus I think it would mean "more" to our American owners...

if he's sold this season?

I mean, its inevitable that he will leave Dortmund...

yeah, dont think we do both... I think Fekir is a better fit for our specific need right now... But if there are doubts, I wouldn't mind going after CP (or a number of others). Window will be closing fast though...

Liverpool would become my second favorite team overnight. They already kind of are anyway. I like klopp, salah, mane, Alexander-Arnold, vvd & others. Plus they are a lot of fun to watch. Pretty much only dislike Henderson, Lovren & FSG. And if it’s a choice between Pulisic going to either Liverpool or Chelsea then that’s not really a choice. I think Chelsea would be the only club I’d have a hard time rooting for with Pulisic on it.

I’d love for him to end up with Tottenham, but levy can’t even sign a championship league player ffs.

Ultimately I thing he’s better served by at least one more year with Dortmund though.

Yeah I think ideal Pulisic scenario would be for him to remain at Dortmund for another season and then I could see us paying up next summer

I know what the rumored Fekir fee was but I don’t see us dropping another 70 mil this summer. If we were to land Fekir it’ll be at a lower price than what was reported before all the saga

I think he’s worth it in this market. The player he can become under Klopp could be worth 150 mil in 5 years. Shaqiri can and often did play through the middle for Stoke. I personally think we need wing depth more than we need a 10, because we don’t really play with a 10 anyway. Bobby is the rare forward that fills the 9 and 10 role and sets up the wingers getting in behind. Keita has the creative passing ability of a 10. CP is the perfect insurance policy for Mane or Salah going down. Like Shaqiri, a good winger that can play through the middle if we want to switch it up. Fekir is the flip side, a good central player that can play on the wing. Lallana has been passed by and isn’t serviceable depth on the wing, not if we’re going to play how Klopp wants. We’ll be fighting on several fronts.

I think in the end it’d be better for his future here. Yea I’m a little biased, but I don’t think his dip in form at Dortmund last year was a coincidence. He was keyed in on by opponents and played more games than he probably should have. He won’t be the main man here and won’t be forced to play an absurd amount of games. Plus the competition in training is better. I think it would be a great step forward for his development. He’ll play a ton but not too much and he’ll be developing under Klopp. Klopp can make him world class.

Im not disagreeing with you, but if the ~£60mm is true, thats actually less than I thought he would go for..

I think he'd get plenty of game time, if we didnt sign a #10... We wouldn't spend that kind of money and not use him...

I think one of my problems is he’s a traditional right sided winger and would be stuck behind our best player so that would limit his games. Then we have Shaqiri who’s more of an inverted winger cutting in from the right (which it seems like Klopp likes to use inverted wingers). Can Shaqiri play on the other wing or more central? Sure, but it’s not his best position. Can Pulisic play more central or on the left? Sure, but again it’s not his best position.

Sure it’d be nice to have an American and yes it would be great for marketing. Could it work? Absolutely. But the Alisson deal was worth dropping a buttload of cash cause we really needed a keeper. I just don’t think he’s something we absolutely need right now. If we do spend more on attack, I’d like someone closer to Coutinho that can play as a 10 but also on the left to cut inside. I think it’s a moot point though cause I don’t see us spending anymore other than maybe the super slim chance that something changes with Fekir. Just my opinion
