A lot of people think that, but I’ve always thought he was beat on the right side. And maybe he did play more on the left, but I’ve been more impressed with him when he’s on the right trying to get to the byline. I could be wrong though

I’d like someone closer to Coutinho that can play as a 10 but also on the left to cut inside. I think it’s a moot point though cause I don’t see us spending anymore other than maybe the super slim chance that something changes with Fekir. Just my opinion
I think that's Fekir, with the exception of him being left footed.. but we haven't had a left footed set piece specialist in a while... I guess we have one in Shaqiri though..

Thats an odd dislike, unless you are a Yankees fan...
Nailed it. It’s a bit deeper than that, but still relatively petty.

I haven't really followed him closely, but isn't it a common opinion that he's destined to play through the middle? Maybe I'm mistaken...
I wish. He’s primarily played on the right for Dortmund, but he’ll switch to the left side occasionally within games. He’s rarely played centrally for Dortmund, which is where I’d like to see him develop the most since he will likely be playing there for USMNT, and because the more he’s on the ball the more he’s locked into the game. My biggest criticism of him has always been that he has a tendency to get lost out wide for stretches during a match, and he’s rarely in the box to take advantage of chances. Philipp is great at sniping trash goals because he finds himself in the right position.
All that said, I doubt he ever plays centrally for a big European club. His speed and attacking ability is what has allowed him to see the field at such a young age, and sets him apart. selfishly I wish he was being developed as more of a 10 so that he would get more touches, and because I imagine he will continue playing there for the national team until someone else proves they have the ability to create like he does.

I figure all the availible subs will likely see the field but Klopp has said that Shaqiri will for sure play

Kinda wishing I made the 3 1/2 hour drive over... but, oh well...

Salah and Mane picking up where they left off last season it seems, that was almost a magnificent goal (great save honestly)

With a healthy Cline and TAA, send Camacho out on loan. Kid looks good.

Agreed, he's got a future for sure... Need to get him 1st team experience

he does look good... For some reason, I always thought he was a winger...

Man Fabinho is gonna be such a solidifying presence in front of the back 4... Seems like another good piece of business

Yea Fabinho’s looked very good I think
Lallana looking very fit too and making good runs, but his passing has been really sloppy and he just doesn’t always look on the same page as everyone

I think it's partially to do with a lack of time with the club because of the injury... Hopefully he gets up to speed with the rest of the team

Interesting Shaqiri playing more central almost like a second striker with roaming all over the field

I’m with you guys, extremely happy with the form Fabinho is shaping into. What a calm, solidifying presence.

I know we won't see it from a while, but I'm pumped for a Keita-Fabinho-Ox midfield
