I’m curious about the captain armband. Klopp seems to award the armband to the longest serving player for the club. Did he do it this way at Dortmund? Think he’ll reconsider who the captain is come summer?
I’m really starting to think Oxlade Chamberlain should get consideration. The way he has handled the Coutinho situation, how he has played, just seems to be a leader.

Hendo is the captain and Milner is his vice captain... when one doesn’t start he does seem to go with longest serving...
I think as long as he’s here, Hendo will prob keep it... but I agree with the fact that AOC sounds like a leader...

Henderson and Milner were given those roles by Rodgers. I always thought at some point, Klopp would revisit that. It does not look like it though.

They may be great locker room guys... who knows..
It’s really hard for people outside of the first team to really know..

Lovren was captain today, right?
I always wanted to see Lovren have a calm conversation with the ref about a controversial call.

Yeah, he was... not sure if he gave the armband to Milner when he came on, but I assume so..
Also..
As long as Robbo keeps this form up, he has to keep his spot...
Do what we need to, to keep Can.. pay him enough to not have a release clause

Don’t understand the draw to Juve at all for him.

Great to see Ox come up big for you guys. (And help keep the Invincibles intact.)
How’s he played for you guys in general? I haven’t followed closely. He was always so up and down for us based on where his head was. I thought he might thrive under Klopp.

He got off to a slow start, as he learned the system... But he has been very good for us recently, now that he's getting a run of games... I think on current form, he's in our best 11..
He's played mainly in the midfield lately... in a B2B role... His pressing has been great...

I've also read that he's been assured of playing in the #6 role there...
We should lock him down, but it may be too late...
I'll give him some credit in that he's not talking about it and playing hard every match..

Cool I guess. With Hendo on tDecline, isn’t that role basically his here? He’s shown way more potential there than Hendo to be able to move back. Keita doesn’t threaten that spot does he?
With the youth and potential of our squad and a long term spot for him, just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in my eyes. Doubt it’s wages.
Spain, PSG or back to Germany I would get, Premier league for serie A? Nah.

The opportunity that courinho has left is huge for him.
Let’s hope he fills the void like he did yesterday. Arguable motm with robbo. We pushed them around all game. Thy were pressing too but ours was next level.
