Keita isn't a #6

I agree, it seems all set up for him to be a long term anchor in our MF... He's only 24 and has his best days ahead of him.. you could see the big dip happen when Milner came on..

Jurgen still seems to prefer Hendo ahead of him, when both healthy... But I think its only a matter of time before that would change..

It was so great to see our midfield boss that game... all 3 were great!

That 11, with VVD in for Lovren is our strongest team right now IMO.. That is who we should play in our big matches... of course, there is still a couple of weeks in the window and that may change...

I agree. Can has a much higher upside than Hendo at the 6 at this point - though I think Can is still lacking a lot of the natural instincts of that position. But if he were played there routinely, that could likely change.

Robbo was fantastic yesterday - amazing that he's come from not playing at all to being locked in as a starter in just a few weeks. He's much better at one on one defending that I thought he would be - and doesn't seem to be the liability in the air (he positions himself well and strongly) that I thought he would be. His speed and determination are also fantastic.

Ox - if you caught his postgame interview with NBSN, I thought it was really interesting that he said Klopp wants him as the 6 that arrives late as a 10. I think that's a fantastic position for him. Using that speed to beat tracking defenders into dangerous areas. And you can see the confidence he's getting from Klopp and his own performances building. He's starting to really press well, makes great runs, is incredibly athletic. His passing has been largely great, including the assist to Firmino yesterday.

To me, as of now, he's Cous replacement as CAM. He won't unlock a defense the same way, but we may not need someone to do that exactly.

How about Bobby?

Great stat, Firmino is on fire.

I still think we need to try to bring someone in this transfer window, however. Our bench was weak yesterday and we will need to be rotating players with the style we play. Interesting to see if Klopp thinks we are ok after our win against city.

Is Ings just not up for it?

Haven't heard or seen anything about him, beyond him sitting on the bench.

Really hoped he would get a shot but injuries may have set him too far back.

I personally dont think he's good enough to play for us...

He should move on and go somewhere he can get game time every week... he deserves to be playing a lot at his age... not playing for the U23s..

More than likely. Feel like its necessary to bring in another option. If Bobby gets a knock...

Oh, I agree..

Studge's time here appears to be up and Solanke is not quite up for it yet IMO

Dream signing would be Timo Werner...

the quality of ox chamberlain’s set piece delivery can be under appreciated. I enjoy that his all seem to be problematic for the defense and can’t really remember him not beating the first guy

Pre-injury I thought he was a perfect complement to Klopp’s system. He had speed, was above average in front of the net, and willing to work non stop. We really haven’t been able to see what he’s got now after the injuries.

So this seems like a very BS source, but I hope we can get something worked out.

Man City goals #2 and #3. What is the first detail here that leaps out at you?

on the 3rd goal... Lovren absolutely blew an easy headed clearance... I guess he jumped out of frame..
