Still 90 seconds, jesus can we just keep the ball?

We only have a handful of girls that can manage the ball with pressure.

Basically, Morgan and Heath.

Solid effort... outplayed for stretches (big stretches) but it only matters what you do in front of goal

Really need Rapinoe to step up today. Time for her to finally play a decent game.

Also, huge shout out to Dunn

England will not be a gimme game.

Solid work against France. They were easily the biggest threat.

Best player tonight was Dunn.

Agreed. Stoppage time was very refreshing to see compared to a Men's game.

Good win but I thought we gave the ball up too much. Scares me that may come back to bite us

If England play like they did against Norway, yes.

If England play like they did against every other team, no.

France has been more impressive to watch than England.

US match attendance has been higher than the France games a couple times already this tournament right?

of the whole tournament so far... there's only been 3 matches above 45,000 official attendence

France - South Korea to open the tournament

USA - Chile

USA - France

then again... I'm just noticing that only 2 of the stadiums being used can seat 45,000+... Paris & Lyon

Nice can fit 35,000+

Le Havre 24,000

Hainaut 22,600

Reims 20,500

Montpellier 19,300

Grenoble 18,000

Helps (hurts?) when your coach thinks it's a good idea to go from a 4-3-3 to a 5-4-1 with 30 minutes left. Why the frick did Ellis think it was smart to try and fix what was working? She's a weak leader. She heard the criticism about waiting too late for changes in the last match, so she had to prove us all wrong by making too many changes early in this one. Pathetic.

What the process of scheduling in the World Cup? If we are ranked the #1 team in the world, why does every opponent we face have extra days to rest and prep for us? France had more days and England will have more days. Just seems really odd. Anyway, solid defensive performance today. Championships are always won on that side of the ball.

Our first touches were pretty terrible all game.

Hats off to Dunn. She kept Diani bottled up most of the game.
