We have to put Press or Pugh on that wing or France

I think one of them will replace her

Rose is great Just not great to look at. Downvote away!

Meh. She’s got that homey cute vibe with a fit AF body that can look really cute with some glitz. True she’s no dime like Morgan but I bet she’s not loads of fun and I would sure as frick never say no.

I'm going to stand with the viewpoint that the attacker embellishes the very minor contact she received.

Some people will think it's a pen, some won't. The laws of the game aren't written in the most black-and-white of ways.

So you are saying that fouls should be dependent on the injury that results on the opponent? The fact that it is a high challenge with studs showing indicates that it was reckless, regardless of what happens to the opponent.

Do you think high challenges, which show studs, are worthy of fouls anywhere else on the field?

I’m not saying I’d pass up

Just saying she’s not the ones who come to mind and I’m not gushing over her

Where did I say that? All I've said is it wasn't reckless.

TOUche. Something to be said about her athletic prowess on the field being a key to her appeal imo. Love the way she moves with the ball. That’s her sex appeal imo.

Changing topics completely, but I hope Jill and the coaching staff understand that Pinoe had a shite game despite getting WOTM with the two penalties.

We have to put Press or Pugh on that wing or France is going to destroy Dunn on that left flank.

I would almost guarantee Pinoe doesn't start Friday. She was gassed by the end of the game, and with her age it takes a little longer to recover.

Over the ball challenges are pretty much universally regarded as reckless, in the international game, and have been called so for a long time. They've also certainly been called that way. If she came under the ball, in an attempt to clear, I wouldn't regard it as so.

Rob Stone said he thinks there will be a pro-US crowd in Paris on Friday. Gotta think that’s a little optimistic

It wasn’t about JUST being gassed. She was a liability on the field. She consistently got beat 1v1 and was slow to get the ball to the next transition.

I think it’s a great thing that the team faced some adversity today for really the first time in the tournament. You don’t want the first time that happens to be against France in Paris.

France will be tough, but they haven’t been great the last 3 games. I still think a great game from us should beat them.

If we’re gonna play a 4-3-3, Press has to start over Rapinoe.

I’m going to call ET/penalties on this one. 0-0 likely or 1-1.

Canada has a penalty saved that would have drawn level.

Beckie took it and not Sinclair, questionable choice there.

Penalty called for Sweden, but was the Swedish player offside in the buildup?

With the way they've called it this WWC it would be criminal to say she was on and give the penalty.

Ok, offside is called and no penalty. At least they've been consistent.

Is taking it into the corner not a thing in women’s soccer?
