Not much has changed, City have to frick up one way or the other. Obviously a loss needed now instead of a draw, but City playing for a draw doesn't suit them anyway.

We’re gonna have to blow up in goal production to make up the goal differential now. I think we are three or four goals behind.
Gerrard winning against them on the final day would only bring us level on points if they don’t frick up before then.

We are four behind, and we do not necessarily have to blow up the GD. If City lose, they will obviously do so by at least 1 goal. If we beat Villa by 2, that will mean City are only +1 at that point. Unlikely, but the narrative is set up for Gerrard to finally "win" Liverpool a title.
