Looks like Bayern are making Mane a priority in the summer transfer window as his contract is up in 23

Feel like this past weekend is on me. I didn’t watch from my usual lucky spot on the couch (where we haven’t lost all season when I’m watching there). I was in Florida for a wedding this last weekend

Even worse news, I will be gone again this weekend so place your bets on Chelsea

I will make it a priority that I will be watching the CL final from my lucky spot- same place I watched the 2019 final

No way that actually happens.

Normally I'd agree with you but a couple of insiders have mentioned the he is butthurt that Mo is getting the contract renewal priority over him.

Don’t doubt the possibility he could leave. Doubt he goes to Bayern. These are most likely rumors started by agents to get contract talks moving.

Yeah I could see him leaving - with Jota and Diaz I could definitely see us being open to the right over

That seems far-fetched. Mo has gone through the best form of his career during the past two years while Mane has gone through the worst.

Agent meets with Bayern

Well, it's being reported by Sky now so it has some validity.

I mean if we can sell mane for big money… have to start profiting off someone. He is at end of prime most likely. Diaz is at beginning. Same with jota. I would love to buy a hendo replacement and possibly another young center back, and a salah back up

Christian Falk said it wasn't true, but yeah, Sky is a sometimes reliable paper so hard to tell at this point.

Mane is a great player but if we are to cycle someone out, he's probably the best target.

All good things....

Yeah, he was playing so well in this new central role though. I was looking forward to a resurgence for him.

Not sure on playing style, and he’s young so would be a bit of a project but we are linked with Tchouameni from Monaco.

Maybe Carvalho can be that guy.

Harvey and curtis have all the skill necessary to be top class midfielders. If we can rotate them in more next year, there's no need to buy.

Yeah no need to buy a hendo replacement, plenty of in-house options there.

I think we need a young RW to back-up Salah on occasion. A young CF/ST to replace Origi going out. And additional cover at RB, unless we still like Gomez there. In which case get another backup CB.

mane is currently our best link up player, a top 5 defender on the team, he scores goals and he never stops.

I wouldn't be so quick to cycle him out if he doesn't actually want to leave.

I also think we go hard after Jude Bellingham next summer but that’s obviously a long ways away. Sucks Dortmund won’t entertain any offers for him this summer bc of them losing Haaland

Not denying that but at his age and his contract demands, tough choices have to be made.

Our model doesn't allow for everyone in that age range to get paid their market value forever.

We're going to have to pay Virgil and Allison a ton soon as well.
