But jump from 5 gam ban to 10 game ban to lifetime or year ban or lifetime international only ban is little harsh.

Season ban during which time he is not allowed to collect a paycheck.

Out for the remaining part of the WC, and maybe seven games in the EPL.

I would agree and maybe a lengthy suspension from international play, since this is where the incident occurred...
I know I'm biased, but he wasn't suspended from international play on the other bans... I also think he cares more about Uruguay and the WC, than LFC...

Not joking, make him wear one or something similar. Allow the man his living, but not at the expense of the people around him. Effective humiliation.

Uruguay's victory is extremely tainted because without all the emotions flaring right after Suarez's bite I'm not convinced Uruguay would have scored in a month. Add that to highly questionable red for Marchisio and the match was certainly a farce.
Eh. I think in this tournament that kind of foul is a yellow, if we want to be consistent. Outside of the tournament that is a red card every time.
What's even more disappointing to me is that Godin should have had a second yellow against England (it was really, really blatant) and thus shouldn't have been around to score the winning goal this game.

Suarez you moron. You should have bitten Pirlo. He would have tasted like the finest cured meats, washed down with a nice Tuscan red.

Take out all his teeth and supply him with dentures. Only gummy mouth allowed for Suarez during play.

FIFA will have this agreement drawn upin days.
1. Saurez must pull all his teeth and buy false teeth.
2. False teeth must be left in a case on the sideline marked Piranha Wannabe's.( under lock and key. )
3. Saurez must wear a Jersey with the nember 75 ( commemorating Jaws '75, and he must have this name on the back of his Jersey :
Gumms.

1 year, all competition wouldn't bother me at all. Dude needs help.

Hearing Ian Darke call Pirlo majestic about 6 times during the Costa Rica-Italy match was a little uncomfortable to me.

Someone give me the backstory on this guy and what he did today? I missed the match. Thanks

It's pretty much all in the thread. This is the third time he's bitten an opponent in a match. Punishment got just a bit worse after second time. Psychological issues, almost surely.

Suarez clearly does, however, which is why he keeps biting dudes. This should be taken into account...
