All of the different competitions are segregated when it comes to punishment. The FA (English Football Association) has the say on EPL sentences and only punishes players for acts committed in EPL games. Same for the Champions League and other competitions.

Nothing announced yet.
He likely will be suspended for the rest of the tournament. However, it's FIFA, so you never know...

I love his reaction and trying to play it off...does he not realize how many cameras are on him? he is such a tremendous talent and at the same time such a POS. frick'em. I hope he gets banned the rest of the WC and Uruguay crash & burns...

I mean the incident in Holland seemed reactionary towards that player and he did it out in plain view of the ref and everyone..
the other two are more similar, meaning he was trying to do it during the action and sneakily...

Lifetime of having to wear a "Silence of the Lambs" type mask during games. Of course, that's after a 20 or 30 game suspension and psychiatric evaluation 1st......

I'm a Italian fan and I still don't know about a long ban for Suarez.
Uruguay's victory is extremely tainted because without all the emotions flaring right after Suarez's bite I'm not convinced Uruguay would have scored in a month. Add that to highly questionable red for Marchisio and the match was certainly a farce.
I'm sure Suarez gets some international ban and deserves it but it's probably better that he simply sees immediate red cards when there's ever the slightest hint of doubt that he may have done anything at all for the rest of his career.
If that hasn't happened by now though I doubt it ever does.
His psychotic cheating (faking that his mouth was injured after the bite was simply awe inspiring) is still good entertainment though.

i know. But jump from 5 gam ban to 10 game ban to lifetime or year ban or lifetime international only ban is little harsh.
30 games would be a significant part of liverpool's BPL season plus a lot of opening of champions league.
