FIFA will investigate and determine his actions are not offensive.

Seriously though, 1 year ban on club an international level would be fine with me.

ESPN's latest alert says FIFA can ban players for biting (I'm guessing violent conduct) for up to two years.

Chiellini: "Suarez is allowed to do whatever he wants and FIFA allows it because they want the superstars to play."

I'm guessing the ref didn't see it, like in the CFC match, but I'd be surprised if this goes unpunished...

Should be banned from international competition.

Will this change Barca from pursuing him?

I think a lifetime ban would be a little harsh.

lifetime ban is a little harsh. especially considering the last ban was 10 games.

go 30 all competitions.

Its his 3rd time. I know other countries are diff, but if I bit some random dude on the street I would face jail time.

MIMIMUM he needs to get full calendar year from all competitions. He needs to be shamed and take a big financial hit in his prime. What a ducking idiot! I had almost allowed myself to forget about the earlier indiscretion.

It doesn't appear to have anything to do with being stupid. He obviously has serious mental problems.

It is unfathomable that he would bite another player again. He has to know that dozens of cameras are on him. He's already gotten caught biting twice. He's like a kindergartener on the playground.

These are my thoughts.

He needs counseling/medicine, because that is not indicative of sane behavior.
