I just find the "insecure" accusation to be lazy. As is people calling others _____phobes or insecure when the _____ is criticized, instead of actually responding to the criticism with a thoughtful response.

We certainly earn the gay jokes from the other boards on this site when a thread starts about a player needing to transfer and ends with arguing over gay/trans shite

I probably should've been more specific, but we like to bantz on the SB, so its easier to just be rude.
What I should have said, and what I've said in previous threads on the topic, is that (for me) its so easy to just ignore all of that. When I see political statements in sports I don't agree with I just pick up my phone and dick around. I just can't understand getting all worked up over something that is so easy to disregard.
Then again I despise both political parties so I live in an entire world that I disagree with. Maybe that's why its so easy for me.

I get it. On the other hand, sometimes people just want to disconnect and watch sports. To some, it may not be so easy to ignore and it kind of taints the experience.
