I think some Americans here are letting pride of country get in the way of unbiased opinions.
CP has had some moments of greatness. But he’s also shown some true mediocrity. That and he’s quite injury prone.

Maybe, but they also don't play the same position so it's not really a worthwhile comparison.

Id like to see Havertz back as a right sided #8.... he really looked there for BL..

Those stats are even more impressive when you consider Havertz is consistently played up top or behind the striker while Pulisic gets played at RWB sometimes.

I'd like to see Havertz back in the Mickey Mouse Bundesliga where he belongs.

Newcastle would get you playing time in your position.
Not sure about that. Saint-Maximin has LW on lock
He should be able to challenge at RW and attacking midfielder and then cover for LW and striker. However, his dad being an internet warrior calling out Tuchel and CP's demand for Champions League gives me pause. Newcastle could challenge for Europa Leauge with him but he doesn't want to put in the work. Sounds like he has a little bit of bitch in him.

New to Chelsea?

He needs to pay attention to what is happening at Leeds with our younger players. Stop chasing the name of the club.

Chelsea should have loaned him this summer. Tuchel wants to run a system where the wing backs provide the width. The midfielders play in the middle of the park under the CF. CP is best used providing with and cutting inside. That position doesn't exist in Tuchel's system. No matter what he plays at Chelsea under Tuchel he will be playing out of position. Why Chelsea has kept him is mind blowing. It seems like the club likes the American attention and wants to keep him but Tuchel has no interest in playing him unless he is chasing a goal late in a game.
Yes CP needs to stay healthy but he is not in a situation that would benefit him even if he was healthy consistently unless Tuchel changes systems completely.
He needs a club where he can play wide up the field. Newcastle would be a good fit. I hope it happens.

He could start day 1, but is he willing to join a fight for European football or does he want to step into a club already there? I fear the latter.

I would hope that his #1 goal is minutes leading into the WC. Figure everything else out next summer.

Could say the same for Ziyech.

Pulisic has started only 8 of the last 41 league games at LW. He’s scored 4G and 2A in those 8 starts. Plus those 8 starts are not in a row so no rythym.
My guess is Tuchel is fired by end of Dec. Then maybe a new coach will work with a better system design. Thats likely the only good scenario for CP

Don't know but a tin pot league is probably where Pulisic could thrive like those two guys who aren't good enough for the Prem. Though I'd take Abraham over Havertz all day every day.
You are genuinely fricking retarded if you don't think Tammy Abraham is good enough for the Premier League
Posted on 8/22/22 at 9:54 pm to Bottom9
I have seen way more of Tammy Abraham in the prem than you have, there's a reason he isn't in it anymore.

You don't think he would play a role at Nottingham Forest, Brighton, West Ham, Leeds, Everton ffs, Newcastle, Southampton, Villa, Leicester, Wolves? Or even better your shite arse Chelsea squad who has zero striker right now? frick outta here

I want Pulisic to succeed in the PL for a long time but the immediate need is for him to go somewhere where he'll be a regular starter at his best position so that he's in tip-top shape for the WC.
I think he'd do well at Newcastle.

exactly
two small, finesse guys that want to slice into space and receive service on the move
but also two small, finesse guys that can get knocked off the ball and are injury prone

Sure but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about for a club with aspirations to win. Also, I already admitted he's a better option than anyone we have at striker but that's an indictment of how dire that situation is.
