It's starting to look like JK is Jose Pekerman 2.0.

I bet Jozy said some of that stuff. Guy who's been around for a while and certainly hasn't had the greatest of experiences with JK.

Dude could win. He has 2 hands full of rings.
I'm sure the Marcelo Bielsa, and Jason Kreis talk will heat up again.
However, JK is getting paid. That may effect the route we take.

Barring a World Cup championship victory over Mexico culminating in Landon Donovan taking a steamy dump on Rafa Marquez's face, I would not bring him back for sure.
And I bang on JK a lot on here and it's well deserved to an extent. However I will pose this question: we set out to overhaul the entire system in order to make us a world power. Would pulling the plug on that less than 2 years into the experiment set us back even further?

I'm one of the bigger Klinsmann supporters out there, but I am starting to question that support. We need at least three points out of the next two games or I will be seriously pissed. I do agree that it's too late in this cycle to make any big changes. Bruce Arena is the only one I would trust to take over.
But don't forget that Bob's tenure was not all rainbows and sunshine. We gave up a goal in the first 10 minutes of big games like clockwork. Bob also had Donovan, Dempsey, and Bradley available in almost every big game while Klinsmann has not. I have long been concerned about who would pick up the slack for Donovan once he fell off and any coach would struggle to deal with that.

The absolute minimum is qualification for the World Cup. If you can't do that, gtfo.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jozy, Donovan or Dempsey. Klinsmann was way out of line with his "I don't give a shite..." comments regarding Dempsey's club situation.

Not nearly as far as missing the next World Cup would. Some games would be broadcast in prime time instead of 6 AM, ratings would pop and money would flow into the game.
As it stands right now, we're sliding back to 1989, where we'll be reliant on a wonder strike from a defender to even qualify.

Oh I completely agree that qualifying is an absolute must and should be attainable during this process. Just wanted to clear that up

I just don't think he's very good at this. I was always lukewarm on the idea and I love most Germans.
This was my first warning bell.
Hendo slobbers every time he hears a German name and didn't seem to initially like the Jurgen signing.

Yeah so if he's not looking like he'll get it done, he needs to go. We can't wait until we don't qualify to do something.

I would definitely get behind that.

I told you they shouldn't be playing for the US.

Guaranteed Beckerman start every match?

Yeah, but that wasn't your reasoning behind that statement.

Whats the story behind that GIF?

So would I, but I'm not done with Jurgy just yet, I've been one of his biggest backers on here and although I'm concerned just like the rest of you, 4 points over the next 2 games will unrustle everyone's Jimmy's. I also think it's understated just how big it is that Jurgy hasn't had Dempsey/Bradley/Donovan together hardly ever

This whole article makes me sad for the future of our team. The players are doubting the coach.
