It’s quite remarkable how quality liverpools recruitment has been. Sure yall have had guys that haven’t lived up to the hype, but more than not most of the signings plug in right away. I know a lot of y’all’s fanbase shite on FSG sometimes, but their management and recruitment teams have been fantastic.
Only strange thing is why did Isak not come out and say he wanted out before Liv signed Ekitike? Newcastle are going to ask damn near $150 million I’d imagine.

Don't think we are going to get Guehi from Palace. He wants to start and if Konate is still here, then Guehi isn't starting.
I think they are goign to go the younger route to replace Quansah, someone who would be ok playing behind Konate knowing he may get his shot the next year to start. I'd rather let Konate go to Madrid and then bring in Guehi and another young CB.

Good grief... That is a TON of breathing room. We could get Isak as well as a different, solid young CB to grow under Konate/VVD.

I was just reading the sticking point on Guehi is Palace wants £50mm and we're not willing to meet that with only a year left on his deal...
I did see that we were looking at Cresswell as a cheaper option... Leeds academy, but playing at Toulouse this year... he stood out at the U21 Euros earlier this summer...

Gakpo with a header in XT, but then we concede on the final kick of the game when we pushed up to get the equalizer and Tsimikas sent a sloppy back pass to the keeper.. 2-4 FT
Anyway, lot to like in the first half... Mo should have scored but he tried to walk it in with a pass back to Wirtz... he 100% takes that shot in a league match...
Also, Rio N. is going to be a player... If Diaz goes and we sign another LW, we shouldn't buy anyone so young that may block his path to the 1st team...
We def need to sign a CB with the quality of Geuhi this window... We are dangerously thin in that position and with Joe's fitness record... we shouldn't be gambling like that..

Obervations. Wirtz is really impressive. On the ball and off the ball. Szoboslai is one of the most, if not the most, underrated attacking mids in the world. Lucho and Nunez probably just made their final road trip with their teammates.

We need one more CB and it would be best to also have a youth guy we think could get a few minutes and develops over next few years.
