Brighton drew with Nottingham today.
Win tomorrow and we’re in 6th all alone. 5th on GD if Man U loses to Tottenham. Haven’t been able to count on 3 points in any match this season but we do have a chance to move up the table quickly and be in the top 5 by the WC break.

Results. We used to grind them out and sometimes look beautiful. This season I’ll take 6 points out of 2 matches no matter how the hell we accomplish it. If we can just keep doing it until the WC break (Top 4 spot?!) considering our start we could be a problem in the Second half.

If and until FSG decide to FINALLY start budgeting and spending some of those *massive profits* they are raking in as owners of Liverpool Football Club on better players and (most importantly to me) SQUAD DEPTH, then dropping points to shite squads during injury crises is going to continue. Period.
I ain’t talking spending oil-level money here but, for gods sake, this crap where they only spend what they sell has gotta stop.
And, if this continues, if/when Klopp retires it’s only gonna get worse.

why not? it gets the best players and wins championships... would be nice not to just have to concede to Man City EVERY frickING YEAR b/c they have much better talent and depth on their roster...
they spend big and have hardware to show for it...
yes i know we won the CL a couple of years ago, but we sold off one of the main players on that team and the guy we got to replace him ain't on par with what we shipped out.... we need absolute TOP FLIGHT TALENT... time to stop bargain hunting and go toe to toe with big clubs to bring in the best players... period

This has been going on for awhile and they’ve gotten away with it. The fact that we did not sell Keita and Ox and replaced them is amazingly incompetent. Explain to me how this team could not have used Bissouma and Nunes this Summer. WTF?! And like bb said….this wasn’t oil money they were asking.
